AUA COVID-19 Safety Policies

The AUA will abide by and follow all CDC guidelines, as well as state, local and federal regulations. We will continue to update this page, so please check back for news and additional guidance.

The AUA will institute a COVID-19 Proof of Vaccination or Negative Test Result Entry Protocol for the Annual Review Course on June 10-12, 2022.

In practice, this means all AUA attendees, faculty, vendors and staff must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or provide negative test results taken 72-hours or less from the time of entry in order to gain access to the event. There is no higher priority for the AUA than delivering a safe and successful course, and we believe this is the safest approach for the well-being of our audience.

On-site Safety Measures

We thank you in advance for adhering to all safety protocols during the Annual Review Course. The following measures will be in place to support a safe environment for all AUA attendees, faculty, vendors and staff:

Health and Safety

  • Hyatt Regency Austin has implemented a number of safety protocols to stop the spread of COVID-19. All Hyatt hotels have undergone the GBAC STARTM cleanliness and training accreditation process through the Global Biorisk Advisory Council (GBAC) and have a trained Hygiene & Wellbeing Leader or team at all locations, responsible for their hotel adhering to new operational protocols and training. For more information, visit Hyatt’s Safety First, Wellbeing Always .
  • It is recommended that attendees, faculty, vendors and staff report any COVID-19 related symptoms or possible exposure concern to AUA staff.

    Protective Masks

    • Face masks are required by all guests throughout the public areas of the Hotel, including lobbies, elevators, hallways and meeting/event space. Face mask regulations are dependent on the current regulations of Austin, TX.

    Staying Safe in Austin

    • All individuals, regardless of vaccination status, will be required to wear a mask on planes, buses, trains and other forms of public transportation.
