I am a urologist specialized in minimally invasive procedures for patients with enlarged prostate, and lower urinary tract pathology. I have a broad background and experience in clinical duties as general urologist. After my Urology residency, I focused my interest in the areas of GU such as enlarged prostate, erectile dysfunction, lower urinary tract pathology and evaluation, prostate cancer early detection and clinically localized bladder carcinoma, among other general urology conditions
As a surgeon to participate in clinical investigation implies developing challenging set of skills that imply discipline, tenacity and attention to detail that are very much practiced within the OR theater. Patience , resiliency and be able to work in a team are among other skills that if you want to excel as a surgeon and as clinical researcher need to be within your core competencies.
