Una Lee, MD
Dr. Una Lee is Urology Physician Lead and Head of the the Section of Urology and Renal Transplantation at Virginia Mason Franciscan Health in Seattle, Washington and an Associate Clinical Professor of Urology at the University of Washington. She is subspecialty board certified in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery. Her undergraduate and medical school degrees are from Stanford University. She completed her urology residency at the Cleveland Clinic, and did her fellowship in Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery at UCLA. Dr. Lee’s clinical practice is focused on the evaluation and management of female pelvic floor disorders. She specializes in incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse and vaginal reconstructive surgery, robotic-assisted laparoscopic surgery for prolapse, as well as complications from prior surgeries using mesh. Dr. Lee is an Advisory Board Member for the Pelvic Floor Disorders Network, which conducts clinical trials funded by the Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD). She is also an active committee member of the American Urogynecology Society and the Society for Society of Urodynamics, Female Pelvic Medicine, and Urogenital Reconstruction. She volunteers with the nonprofit organization Medicine for Humanity and travels to Mbarara, Uganda to partner with local providers and teach on the surgical repair of childbirth injury. Her ultimate goal is to provide excellent care all patients by pursuing patient-centered care and research.
