Edouard Trabulsi, MD,MBA
Dr. Edouard Trabulsi is Professor and Chair of the Department of Urology at the Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia, PA as well as Professor of Urology at the Sidney Kimmel Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University. He received his Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry cum laude with Distinction in Research from the University of Rochester and completed his medical degree magna cum laude at the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences. He completed surgery internship, surgery residency, and urology residency at Thomas Jefferson University. He also completed fellowship in urologic oncology and minimally invasive urologic oncology at the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York. He also completed the Vail ASCO/AACR Methods in Clinical Cancer Research Seminar. He is also a member of Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. In 2021, he completed his MBA at the Fox Business School at Temple University, where he received the Distinguished Scholar Award.
Dr. Trabulsi is co-primary investigator for 2 NIH R01 grants investigating VPAC, a novel urinary biomarker for prostate cancer detection; as well as contrast-enhanced renal ultrasound evaluation of renal tumor ablation. He has published numerous manuscripts and book chapters in the field of urologic oncology and prostate cancer imaging. His clinical interests include all areas of urologic oncology and minimally invasive surgery, including prostate cancer, bladder cancer, kidney cancer, testis cancer and penile cancer, as well as robotic and laparoscopic surgery. His research interests include urinary and PET biomarkers for prostate and bladder cancer, contrast-enhanced transrectal ultrasonography, outcomes after robotic prostatectomy, and postoperative radiotherapy after radical prostatectomy. He has been designated as one of America’s “Top Doctors” and “Top Doctors for Cancer” several years running, and has been named as a “Top Doc” by Philadelphia magazine.
