ForwardUltrasound of the Male Genitalia (2022)
The Urologist is uniquely qualified by training and experience to perform and interpret ultrasound studies of the male genitalia. Office ultrasound of the male genitalia as performed by the Urologist enhances patient care by providing a non-invasive procedure that gives real-time information for a rapid and accurate diagnosis. Urologists desire to maintain their high degree of proficiency in performing, interpreting and documenting these imaging studies. This video re-enforces the concepts and techniques required to perform high-quality ultrasound examinations of the male genitalia.

Learning Objectives
After completing this activity, the participants should be able to:
- Identify the normal ultrasound appearance of the male genitalia.
- Describe the protocols and technique for ultrasound of the male genitalia.
- Discuss the common indications for ultrasound of the male genitalia.
- Appraise the ultrasound appearance of common pathology of the male genitalia.
- Demonstrate the basic scrotal and penile ultrasound examination, including documentation and patient safety.

METHOD OF PARTICIPATION:

CREDIT DESIGNATION:
The American Urological Association designates this live activity for a maximum of 2.00 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
OTHER LEARNERS:
