  1. Adjust methods for diagnosis and treatment of Overactive Bladder (OAB) based on the clinical recommendations from the 2024 AUA/SUFU Guideline.
  2. Analyze the indications, mechanisms of action, and dosing regimens for OAB medications.
  3. Educate patients on what to expect with OAB treatment and how to report any adverse effects.
  4. Utilize appropriate tools and methods to assess the efficacy of OAB treatments in clinical practice.
  5. Effectively document the medical necessity for beta3 agonists and other OAB medications to insurance providers.

The American Urological Association (AUA) is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

CREDIT DESIGNATION: 

The American Urological Association designates this enduring material for a maximum of 1.00 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

OTHER LEARNERS: 

The AUA is not accredited to offer credit to participants who are not MDs or DOs. However, the AUA will issue documentation of participation that states that the activity was certified for AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™.
