Optimizing Outcomes in Urology Surgery: Post-Operative Care (2024)

This on-demand didactic series was developed under the direction of Gina Badalato, MD and Lindsay Hampson, MD.

This program consists of 15 on-demand modules.  Each module features an on-demand didactic lecture with case-based content and "take-home" clinical pearls of wisdom. This program aims to achieve the following goals:

  • Provide a standardized and foundational course for early career residents and APPs to introduce them to urology..
  • Deliver a uniform curriculum to ensure baseline proficiency to improve patient safety.

This session will focus on Optimizing Outcomes in Urology Surgery: Post-Operative Care.

    1. Explain in-hospital considerations for postoperative care.
    2. Outline challenges pertaining to discharge and transition of care.

    Method of Participation: 

    Learners will participate in this online educational activity by watching the recorded lectures, answering multiple choice questions, examining available patient tools and resources and completing the posttests and evaluations. To claim CME credit for these enduring materials, learners must complete the posttest, passing with 80% accuracy and submit the program evaluation.

    OTHER LEARNERS:
