New 2021 Evaluation & Management Guidelines: What You Need to Know and How They Will Affect Your Practice Webcast (2020)
Complimentary Webcast for AUA Members and Practice Managers' Network Subscribers!
On January 1, 2021, new Evaluation & Management (E&M) Guidelines went into effect. There are a number of updates that providers and practices need to understand to comply with the new Guidelines in order to maintain and improve coding and reimbursement efficiencies. During this webcast, expert Faculty will introduce and explain the changes in the new Guidelines and how they compare to the prior Guidelines.
Additionally, all participants receive access to a downloadable complimentary “Evaluation & Management: CPT Code and Guideline Changes” digital brochure, developed by the AUA Public Policy Department and AUA Coding & Reimbursement Committee, to reinforce the 2021 changes and provide a handy reference tool.
The goal of this activity is to bring forward the latest information on the 2021 E&M Guidelines and CPT code changes. View today so you and your practice will be informed, ready, and able to accurately submit reimbursements according to the 2021 E&M Guidelines while maintaining billing and reimbursement efficiencies, which will result in less denials and increased patient satisfaction.
Disclaimer: The information contained in this webinar was based on the law prior to the December 2020 COVID-19 Economic Relief Package. That package has significantly altered some of the material in this webinar. In particular, the G2211 add-on payment code has been put on hold and will not be paid until January 1, 2024. That code should not be used in your practice. The 2020 year-end package included new funding for the fee schedule which will increase the conversion factor by 3.75%. The deferral of G2211 will also increase the conversion factor in 2021, 2022, and 2023. We recommend that you check the information in this webinar against any changes to the budget neutrality rules contained in the 2020 year-end package.
