Guideline Panel Meeting: Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (2025)

October 1, 2025 to December 6, 2025

This is a guidelines panel activity. The purpose is to provide clinicians with evidence and consensus-based principles and strategies for the diagnosis and management of Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia based on the current state of both clinical practice and the medical literature. There currently exists gaps in knowledge about how to best to diagnose and manage such a condition. There exists inconsistency in practice patterns, which provides an area for improvement of patient care.

  • Non-Urologist (MD or DO)

Learning Objectives

After completing this activity participants will be able to:

  1.  Analyze the latest scientific evidence for the diagnosis and management of Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia 
  2. Recommend appropriate diagnostic and treatment options for Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia 
  3. Apply improved critical thinking skills to medical literature reviews.
