This 2-day, hybrid program combines the AUA’s ever popular Practice Management Conference and annual Coding Seminar into one comprehensive course offering. The purpose of this program is to educate physicians and non-physicians alike on the topics impacting the management of today’s urology practice with an increased emphasis on coding and reimbursement.
Friday live in-person session focuses on coding and reimbursement content in the following content buckets delivered in an interactive, engaging format:

At the conclusion of this activity, participants will be able to:

- Interpret and apply billing and coding for proper reimbursement.
- Formulate practical applications of the coding information to utilize in everyday practice.

- Comprehend the fundamental principles of governmental regulations like Stark Law, Anti-Kickback Statue and Surprise Billing.

- Describe National Correct Coding Initiatives (NCCI) for bundling and unbundling in the practice of urology.

The AUA will institute a COVID-19 Proof of Vaccination or Negative Test Result Entry Protocol for the Practice Management & Coding Program on July 14-15, 2022..
In practice, this means all AUA attendees, faculty, vendors and staff must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or provide negative test results taken 72-hours or less from the time of entry in order to gain access to the event. There is no higher priority for the AUA than delivering a safe and successful course, and we believe this is the safest approach for the well-being of our audience.

ACCREDITATION:
The American Urological Association (AUA) is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
CREDIT DESIGNATION:
The American Urological Association designates this live activity for a maximum of 8.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
OTHER LEARNERS:
The AUA is not accredited to offer credit to participants who are not MDs or DOs. However, the AUA will issue documentation of participation that states that the activity was certified for AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™.

- Peer review for valid, evidence-based content by the AUA COI Review Work Group.
- Attestation that clinical recommendations are evidence-based and free of commercial bias.
- Introduction of a debate format (point-counterpoint)
- Inclusion of moderated panel discussion with unbiased moderator
- Publication of a parallel or rebuttal article for an article that is felt to be biased
- Divestiture of the relationship by faculty
- Recusal from controlling relevant aspects of planning
- Selection of alternative faculty for specific topic

Cancellation Policy
AUA Education & Research reserves the right to cancel any portion of this activity if a minimum enrollment is not reached before June 21, 2022. If AUA Education & Research cancels any portion of this activity, notification will be sent by June 28, 2022.
Live Courses: An administrative fee of 15% is assessed if registration is cancelled up to six weeks prior to the course. If registration is cancelled four to six weeks from the course, the cancellation fee is 50% of the registration fee paid. No registration fees will be refunded less than four weeks prior to the course.
Registration Transfer: Customers switching from an option of lesser value to a higher value will be required to pay the difference in cost between the two options. Switching to an option of lesser value from a higher value must be made no later than to six weeks prior to the course and will be subject to an administrative fee of 15% of the cost of the course from which they are transferring. Transfer of registration from a higher value option to an option of lesser value past six weeks prior to the course will not receive a refund.
