PARPi: Genetic Testing in Advanced Prostate Cancer - When and Who to Test Webcast (2023)
The American Urological Association (AUA) has developed a series of live virtual and on-demand educational offerings to further address the identified educational gaps and barriers in advanced prostate cancer care. Based on the documented need from the AUA Advanced Prostate Cancer Global Needs Assessments, a three-part educational series to update urologists and advanced practice providers (APPs) on PARP-inhibitor (PARPi) treatment in advanced prostate cancer is being offered. The second in the series, Genetic Testing in Advanced Prostate Cancer - When and Who to Test, features a moderator and three subject matter experts, including a genetic counselor, pathologist, and medical oncologist. Together, they will provide valuable insights and updates to the urologic care team. The focus of the discussion will be on emphasizing the significance of genetic testing for prostate cancer patients and guiding the team on the accurate interpretation of these tests.
