Safiya-Hana Belbina is a fourth year medical student at the University of Texas at Austin Dell Medical School. Originally born in Nottingham England, Safiya-Hana moved to the United States at 2 years old and grew up in Flower Mound Texas. She went to the University of Arkansas for her undergraduate education where she competed on the D1 SEC championship cross-country and track team. Safiya-Hana returned to Austin Texas for medical school where she developed her passion for Urology. During medical school, She also realized her interest in healthcare policy and completed a Masters in Public Policy. She is currently in the process of applying to Urology residency. In her free time, Safiya-Hana enjoys embroidery and making fruit jams.
