Stephen Boorjian, MD
Dr. Stephen A. Boorjian is the Carl Rosen Professor of Urology, Vice Chair of Research for the Department of Urology, and the Director of the Urologic Oncology Fellowship at Mayo Clinic. He received his MD from Harvard Medical School, and was a resident in Urology at New York Presbyterian Hospital-Weill Cornell Medical Center. He subsequently completed a fellowship in Urologic Oncology at Mayo Clinic. Dr. Boorjian has co-authored over 400 manuscripts and book chapters, and was recognized as “Teacher of the Year” in Urology for 2012 by the Mayo Clinic Fellows’ Association. He received the Young Urologist of the Year award from the AUA in 2014 and 2018, as well as the 2016 Young Investigator Award from the Society of Urologic Oncology. He is a member of the NCCN Guidelines Panels for Bladder Cancer and Penile Cancer, has served on the AUA Non-Muscle Invasive Bladder Cancer Guidelines Panel, co-chaired the AUA Microhematuria Guideline Panel, and is a former Associate Editor of European Urology.
