Jessica Kreshover, MD

Jessica E Kreshover, MD, MS is a fellowship trained specialist in minimally invasive urologic surgery. She is an Associate Professor at the Hofstra-Northwell Medical School and is Director for Medical Student Urologic Education in the Department of Urology. She has published multiple studies in the top urology journals and has presented research at national and international meetings. She is an active member of the AUA's National Medical Student Curriculum Committee and highly involved in IRB committee, resident competency, quality, and credentialing within her department and health system.
Dr Kreshover came to medicine after a short but successful career in engineering. She started undergraduate school at the University of Pennsylvania and subsequently transferred to the University of Virginia where she was awarded a scholarship for the outstanding woman in engineering. She then pursued graduate studies and completed a Masters of Science in Systems Engineering on a full scholarship before shifting her emphasis to medicine. Dr Kreshover earned her MD from the University of Virginia in 2007. She completed residency in urology at Boston University Medical Center which included training at the Boston Children's Hospital and the Boston Veterans Affairs Hospitals.
