Tracey Krupski, MD

I am an Professor of Urology at the University of Virginia Health Sciences Center (UVA, Director of Clinical Trials and Vice- Chair of the Department of Urology. After a 6-year urology residency, I completed a Urologic Oncology Postdoctoral Fellowship and a Health Services Research Postdoctoral Fellowship at University of California, Los Angeles. I worked extensively with the California program, IMPACT, for disadvantaged men with prostate cancer that improved access to quality prostate cancer care for these men. I received an American Foundation of Urologic Diseases Health Policy Scholar grant that culminated in my Journal of Clinical Oncology publication “Geographic and Socioeconomic Variation in Prostate Cancer Treatment.” Upon transitioning to UVA from Duke University, my oncologic work has been in renal cell carcinoma and bladder cancer. My group has received American Cancer Society funding for tele-cystoscopy.
