Matthew Lee, MD
Matthew Lee, MD, is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Urology at Ohio State University. He graduated cum laude from Yale University with a major in Biology and went on to complete his medical education at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York City, where he developed a passion for Urology. Dr. Lee then matched at the University of Michigan for his Urology residency, receiving exceptional surgical training.
Following his residency, Dr. Lee completed a fellowship in Endourology under the mentorship of Dr. Amy Krambeck at Northwestern University. During his fellowship, he gained extensive experience in Holmium Laser Enucleation of the Prostate (HoLEP), Percutaneous Nephrolithotomy (PCNL), and Ureteroscopy.
Dr. Lee has published multiple papers and presented at numerous national and international conferences. In September 2022, he joined Ohio State University as an Endourologist and launched the HoLEP program. Dr. Lee continues to perform HoLEP, PCNL, Ureteroscopy, and conduct research. He is the only fellowship-trained Endourologist in central Ohio performing HoLEP and has completed over 500 HoLEP procedures to date.
