John Lacy, MD, is currently on faculty in the Department of Urology at the University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville, Tennessee. He was raised in Clarkesville, Georgia, and received his undergraduate degree from Wake Forest University. He moved to Charleston, South Carolina, and completed a research fellowship focused on cardiac tissue remodeling at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) in Charleston before receiving his medical degree MUSC as well. He performed his urology residency training at the University of Kentucky in Lexington, Kentucky, before completing a fellowship in Male Genitourinary Reconstruction and Prosthetics at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio. Dr. Lacy is also a past chair of the AUA Residents Committee.
