John Davis, MD
John W. Davis is an associate professor of urology and director of the prostate cancer surgery program at MD Anderson Cancer Center. Previously, he was an assistant professor at Eastern Virginia Medical School. Recent leadership roles include committees with the AUA, immediate past president of the Society of Urological Robotic Surgeons, and Associate Editor for the British Journal of Urology International.
Dr. Davis received his B.S. degree in biology (Cum Laude) from Davidson College, and M.D. from the University of Virginia. After urology residency at Eastern Virginia Medical School, he completed fellowships in the basic sciences as an American Foundation of Urologic Disease Fellow, as a clinical fellow in urologic oncology at MD Anderson Cancer Center, and in laparoscopic surgery at Charité Hospital, Berlin, Germany.
